American Alarms U.L. Certified systems comply with the high standards and safety features set by Underwriters Laboratories , a national (authority) non-profit inspection services that reviews equipment for safety. Equipment meeting the strict standards of U.L. have passed a series of tests and are stamped with the U.L. seal of approval.
All U.L. certified alarm, safety and electrical equipment is also reviewed annually to ensure consistency in meeting the set standards continues over time. A certified safety or alarm system is always subject to random, unannounced inspections by UL alarm system auditors to continue to certify compliance of UL approved systems.

• Equipment meets safety standards
• Security or system installations made in accordance with codes & standards
• Trained alarm technicians installing the system
• Repair service by trained alarm technicians
• Preventative maintenance program by trained alarm technicians
The UL Certified Difference in Our Systems
A large majority of alarm systems in the U.S. have not undergone high standards review and therefore are not UL certified. Although a company may be UL listed, it does not guarantee that the products installed have been certified.
